I have had this lens for 3 1/2 months and the only problem I have it is that it's so good that I seldom want to switch to any of my other lenses! My 14~54 lens is now relegated to a "back-up" role. I also appreciate the new "pinch" lens cap design because it is much easier to remove and replace the cap without removing the lens hood.
It is however a large piece of equipment so I would not recommend it for someone who is looking for the compact lens/camera combination possible with the E-4xx or E-5xx models.
I use mine with either an E-3 or an E-1 which means I normally have a battery grip to help balance the handling of the camera. Most of my recent photos have been made with this lens and some can be viewed at my Flickr page.
