This is my go to Zoom lens. I use it with the 1.4 tele conv. One thing, It's a Hog for it's range.

4 out of 5 due to size and focus issues. You have to use a tripod....
I'd suggest if you're really needing a true Zoom lens to save your money and buy a 300mm, 400mm or 600mm. If I had to do it all over again, I'd save up and go with a 400 or 600mm.
